Dr. Marilyn Chapman

Dr. Marilyn Chapman is a dedicated educator, theologian, and passionate Christian leader who founded Creation Inspiration to seamlessly integrate biblical principles with the marvels of God’s creation. Her mission is to illuminate the connections between scripture and the natural world, nurturing spiritual growth and a profound appreciation for God’s divine design.
Born into a legacy of strong Christian women—her great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother—Dr. Chapman was grounded in faith, compassion, and the pursuit of excellence. Her mother, a lead reading specialist, not only taught her academic foundations but also introduced her to anatomy through household tasks, giving her an early edge in understanding science and medicine.
This foundation led her on a remarkable journey, from public school to earning a doctorate in Dental Surgery. For over 20 years, she practiced clinical dentistry in prestigious settings, including Embassy Row and Southeast D.C., before establishing her solo practice in Maryland. However, her true calling emerged when she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and felt God’s divine call to teach Christian education.
Dr. Chapman pursued this call by earning a Master’s in Christian Education and Biblical Apologetics, graduating summa cum laude. Her studies included fieldwork in Israel, independent research on the Holy Land, and the study of Biblical Hebrew, all of which deepened her understanding of scripture and theology. She brought the Bible to life for students at St. Stephens Christian Academy, connecting biblical truths to real-life experiences.
Now, through Creation Inspiration, Dr. Chapman writes heartfelt blogs celebrating our Creator and the splendor of His creation (Genesis 1:1-27). She combines her expertise in science and theology to address topics such as biology, anatomy, and geology while integrating them with biblical insights. She inspires believers to grow in faith, embrace God’s truth, and marvel at His creation.
With every step of her journey ordained by God, Dr. Chapman exemplifies Philippians 1:6: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” Her prayer is that her readers feel inspired to draw nearer to the Creator, Redeemer, and Savior, embracing His presence and love (Isaiah 44:24; John 1:3; Colossians 1:15). Through faith, perseverance, and God’s amazing design, Dr. Chapman continues to fulfill her divine calling.
